What's on my iPhone?
Hey feisty faces! (I'm trying to call you something different every week - It's already failing, haha)
Today, I wanted to show you some of the apps I use on my phone merely because I'm on my phone almost 24/7.
I didn't want to explain social media apps because you probably know what they are, but I did want to show you which ones I use:
I definitely use the ones in the first row of that screenshot the most. Also, I use a lot of other apps other than these! I wanted to show you a few of my favorites!
DISCLAIMER: I'm not sure if these are available for Androids & other smart phones, but I'm sure you can find something just as awesome there!
1) Crowdfire (Free in App Store - with optional paid upgrades)
Crowdfire is known as a third party application, which means it is an app that you can use to manage your social media. Crowdfire is a great tool because it will show you:
- who followed you
- who unfollowed you
- how many people don't follow you back
- people you follow that have been inactive
- how many people YOU don't follow back
You can also put users on the whitelist, which is my favorite feature on the app. The whitelist is for users you follow that don't follow you back, but you don't want to ever unfollow them, so they won't show up in your non-followers list. This is great if you follow your favorite celebrities, organizations, or just friends who are stubborn and won't follow you back (WE ALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE). If you put them on the list, they will never be unfollowed!
Lastly, they send you a weekly analytics document in your email that will tell you how you did that week on Twitter! It's honestly kinda confusing, but it's cool to see how your social media is growing.
2) VSCO Cam (free in App Store with optional paid filters)
I'm sure you have heard of this app...It is definitely known as the hipster photo editing app, and I've got to say, I love it! It's super easy and actually a very beautiful app.
Plus, there is a social media aspect to it with your own gallery you can share with your friends, but I don't particularly use that that often!
I love this app because it's one of the reasons you see some of the really beautiful instagram accounts that look very put together. That's because they pick one of the filters of vsco cam, stick with it, and it all looks like one art piece!
Here's a great example of how a boring picture of a backpack & some coffee can look 10x better with a VSCO cam filter!
3) Time Hop (free in iTunes App Store)
This has become one of my recent OBSESSIONS! If you have been using social media for a long time and love a good #throwback, then you will love this app. On the app, it will show you what you put on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on that day in the past years. It's cool to reminisce on the weird things you posted, as well as the memories.
A great example for today (October 8th) is a birthday appreciation post that I put for one of my best friends Dana Pelkey last year. On the app, you can make an awesome throwback picture that looks like this:
So those are some of my favorite apps on my phone! NOW, I wanna hear from you with a new part of feistyfletch.com... the QUESTION OF THE WEEK!
I've been asking questions, but now I'm giving you a quick form you can fill out right below this! I would love to hear your responses, and remember: it's always anonymous if you want it to be :)
AND, I will feature my favorite responses in next week's post! (unless you tell me you don't want me to!)
Okay! I love you all!
I get to see my family this weekend for the first time in 2 months - SO EXCITED!
See you next week!
